. taking a live look over washington, d.c. this morning waking up to some chilly temperatures once again. we'll see how it is going to shape up today for you. good morning. i'm sarah simmons i'm wisdom martin. welcome to fox 5 morning news. not too bad here but when you look at these pictures, you're like wow, thousands of people in new york and new jersey are without power again after a strong nor'easter hit the area. storm packed powerful winds and heavy wet snow bringing down trees and power lines that hadn't been knocked down by the superstorm. there have been no mandatory evacuations although new york city mayor michael bloomberg urged residents of low-lying neighborhoods to leave. >> look at all this. >> that woman had a smile on her face. she was like i can't believe this. >> she had a smile on her face. >> she was like i can't believe what i'm doing. we had some showers overnight and even mixed with a little snow around here. picked autopsy you trace officially at reagan national so we've had our first flakes of the season. >> officially. >> just flakes. >> nothing to worry about
